Victory Children’s Center

          The Victory Children’s Center offers classes for infants beginning at six weeks old through Kindergarten 5 years old.

          Our philosophy is that children are a “gift from the Lord” (Psalm 127:3) and should grow in wisdom, stature, and knowledge of Him.  The center will provide a loving and nurturing environment so that  children may grow and develop to their fullest potential.

Pre-School 2 and 3 year-olds learn:

          *to count and color

          *the alphabet and basic phonic concepts

          *to enjoy and recite nursery rhymes

Pre-School 4 year-olds learn:

*basic phonics including consonant and vowel sounds

*phonics blends and one and two vowel words

*number concepts 1-20

Kindergarten 5 year-olds learn:

          *to recognize and write their own name

          *to print the alphabet

          *to count by 1’s, 5’s, and 10’s to 100

          *number concepts of addition and subtraction

*money value and telling time

*300-600 one syllable words

*to begin reading sentences

*to apply phonics rules for one and two vowel words
